Position Summary: Under the direction of supervisor, ensures effective operations of assigned luxury suites, including stocking, serving and attending to guest's needs, in accordance with company's hospitality and applicable operational standards.
Essential Functions: Sets up and checks on assigned suites prior to event, to ensure proper items are in place, in accordance with company procedures. Verifies and sets-up all pre-event food and/or beverage orders. Identifies suite host and properly introduces oneself. Takes and places event-day food and beverage orders. Sets-up and checks on event-day food and beverage orders. Picks up food items and serves guest. Replenishes food, beverage, condiments and utensils as needed. Maintains standards of orderliness of suite. Obtains signatures from host on charges. Serves guests until the end of the event. Completes closing functions and checks out with supervisor. Preforms other duites as assigned.
Non-Essential Functions: Assists with pantry operations as needed to ensure the success of the team. Assists with pre-game preparation as needed.
Education & Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of service experience in a hotel, full service restaurant, catering facility or club environment required; previous experience as suite runner preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to company's hospitality service standards. Ability to complete required pre-employmment sanitation and alcohol service training. Organizational skills; detailed-oriented. Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high pressure environment. Good communication skills; abillity to effectively communicate with guests, and retain and communicate menu information and service preference. Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions. Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for set-up, service and clean up of suite. Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand.
