Tennessee Titans is seeking a social media manager to create and manage the organization’s social media strategy. The social media manager will be responsible for crafting and executing the organization’s message through social media channels.
Create and execute the social media strategy for all Titans social media channels
Manage the content and prioritization of Titans social media posts while working with various departments
Manage and post written content, photos, graphics and video on all of Titans social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Creatively present team’s message and brand in a positive manner via social media, while also monitoring buzz and sentiment related to the Titans on social media
Work closely with other departments including marketing, ticketing and merchandising to post relevant content and fulfill Club’s obligations to sponsors and other stakeholders
Use social media to drive traffic to team’s website
Work with outside social media vendors in conjunction with internal departments of the organization to develop promotions, sweepstakes, contests, games and other fan engagement items on team's social media channels
Monitor all Titans players' social media channels, assist players in verifying accounts, work to identify any fake accounts and follow up with NFL office to ensure any fake accounts are removed
Maintain an active, working knowledge of current industry standards and best practices, including new social media outlets team should consider pursuing
Evaluate new social media technologies and present advantages and disadvantages of each technology in contributing to corporate brand, mission and revenue potential
Maintain an active, working knowledge of, conduct research and monitor other corporate websites and social media channels for latest online innovations and technologies
Use analytics tools to monitor and improve social media traffic and fan engagement.
Other duties as assigned by Titans' Director of Media Relations
